Wage Garnishment, Locate Current Employer - Part 3

Another way to be successful in Judgment Recovery is to locate your subjects Current employer so you can Garnish wages. With this information you may be able to collect a portion of his earnings (sometimes as much as 25%) until such time as your judgment has been satisfied.

The private investigators that sell services on http://www.bestpeoplesearch.com/ have had tremoudous success at locating and verifying current employmer for just this purpose.

This option works best if your debtor is not self employed or wages are not already being garnished by another judgment holder. If your subject is a member of the Military, this process is not imposible but can be more difficult.

Once you have located and verified that your debtor is employed you would take the employment information to the sheriff or other local official (depending on your state). This person is typically called a "levying officer". With the information you provide from this search the levying officer collects the money from the employer for you.

Under federal Law wage garnishment is limited to 25% of your debtor disposable income. States laws vary and some may have a lower total percentage allowed. We recommend checking with a levying officer in your local area.

Judgment holders sometimes think that a wage garnishment levy will cause the employer to fire the debtor. Under federal law employers are prohibited from terminating an employee whose wages are garnished due to a single judgment.

Best People Search and Copy Cat Fakes

Best People Search must really be the best if everyone wants to copy the name.

Ever wonder why so many web sites pay to advertise the term best people search on Google and others use the words Best People Search in the title or somewhere else in the web site to fool the search engines and people?

Think about it. Honestly, it must be because they know how popular the actual web site best people search really is. Why else would they try and fool the general web surfing public?

I suppose we at bestpeoplesearch.com could have our attorneys send letters to these other web site owners to have them stop, but that would just cause undue expense and then we would have to raise prices to pay for all that.

It's too bad that these less than honest web sites have to stoop to spam and spoofing tactics. What's worse is that unsuspecting web users fall for that stuff (just like phishing emails) and everyone looks bad (meaning the entire people search industry).

I supposed the coined 1817 phrase Caveat emptor "Let the buyer beware" is appropriate here.

However, what these spoofing, faking web sites should know is that the powers to be at Best People Search know all about it and we have our people capturing screens and documenting what these fraudsters are doing. Let's just say Caveat Venditor "let the seller beware".

When you type in best people search in Google and over 250,000,000 pages show up in the listings and you see http://www.bestpeoplesearch.com/ is the first link you should realize that is the real deal. Please don't be fooled. How many fraudsters can you spot?

Call us anytime at 760-454-7301 should you need to double check and make sure you are dealing with us. We actually post our phone number and will speak to you, how about that.

If you're looking for the real best people search, where you can hire a real live private investigator, make sure the URL has the words www.bestpeoplesearch.com.

Collecting on a Judgment
Part 2 in the Series
How to Locate and Levy Accounts.

Armed with your debtors Name, Address, and SSN you can now locate any open bank accounts this subject may have.

What that will do is enable you to file a writ with the court (this may be called something different in your state).

A writ will typically allow you or the sheriff (depending on the laws in your state) to serve the Financial Institution with a formal demand to levy the bank account for funds equal to or as much as the amount of your judgment.

The private investigators that sell services on the bestpeoplesearch.com portal can locate these accounts.Understand that you can only levy accounts in your subjects name (not the spouse, the brother, the uncle, etc).

If your judgement is in the Name of an Individual and a Corparation you can locate and levy business accounts as well. However, for that search you will need the business name and FEIN number in place of a SSN.

This is a great tool for judgment recover and is one of the main avenues used by people who purchase judgements to collect funds such as law firms and judgment collection specialists.
